Can I use my K3 to focus stack in camera?

Hi all,

I have never done a focus-stacked image but it's something I'd like to try in the future. I understand the theory and it occurred to me that my K-3 has some functionality which allows various images to be combined and this may allow me to focus stack in camera. Is that possible? Which image combination mode would I need to use?

Many thanks

Focus stacking in-camera is something I mentioned on here in 2011 and it's still not available to us. Some point 'n shoot cameras have it, so why not Pentax ? ? ?

Nothing to stop Pentax users creating stacked images as we all know, just not in camera.
This website by PU member nass explains all.
And this thread on the US forum may also be of interest
