Cameraworld ?

Anyone had any dealings with them ? SRS don't stock Irix lenses and Cameraworld are one of the Irix dealers - the only ones to be at NEC.

So far they've scored poorly as they've not replied to my request for info. Not so good. But are they otherwise OK ?

Used them for a few things and they've been ok, never had to deal with a problem, they are a relatively high profile bricks and mortar chain.
Remember if you've messaged them in the last day or so they might be struggling for staff with the weather.

I bought a refurbished lens and they where always responsive to repairs it did need repairing a number of times by the manufacturer before it was working correctly but I couldn’t fault cameraworld

I bought a second hand lens from them (FA 50 F1.4) , I got it for a great price and it was in excellent condition.

I bought a Irix 15mm from them at the NEC show last year. They had some good prices. I cannot comment about after sales service.

I bought a Sigma 15mm f2.8 fisheye off them a couple of weeks ago and when it arrived the metal hood had a slight dent. I emailed them 3 times before getting a response but when they did reply we came to a satisfactory agreement very quickly.

I bought some gear from them (Wells St off Oxford St) when they were a Pro Dealer, my K10D came from them. Not used them in a while only because I prefer using SRS/Grays/Cambrian.

Any suggestions for refurbished lenses from cameraworld?
