Camera Backpack for Mountain Biking

I have a Lowpro flipside, the non camera storage space is a little small however it's very comfortable and with the bag opening from body facing side it means you can lay bag on the ground and change lenses without getting the body facing part getting whet.

I know this is going off topic but what a thing to do. I`ve ridden lands End John O Groats a few times and always wanted to bike the USA a world tour WOW!

On topic: A thing to consider is how easy you can the camera from the back. In that respect the Tamron and similar designs are not perfect as you will have to take the bag off your back - it slows things a bit and for my I find I often considers if it is really worth it.

Sorry, I see I misinformed here (poor English!) a world tour is not on my schedule. I have thought about it, but it's not likely to happen. I plan on doing several shorter tours, then going back to Denmark to earn some cash as well as recharge my mental bateries. I'm off to Asia in a couple of days. Your part of the world is also on my wishlist - I have only been to London and that's many years ago.

I still think the Ortlieb bags with the chest carrying system could be the answer - link
