Caithness, Scotland in November

I've been working up in the North East tip of Scotland this week, cold, dark, grey, windy and the usual horizontal rain,

Saw some blue sky for about 20 minutes on Thursday, fired off about 36 shots, nothing to write home about, then this rainbow appeared, 30 seconds later, the rain landed on my
pristine Pentax - 10-17mm, ,

but I like the picture , so I thought I'd share it, I like the way the dark sky is outside the rainbow, there was the start of a second rainbow, but the rain fell before it developed.

Well done. I am never in the right position when rainbows appear llike that!
