I like it too. I often find that abstract images such as this do well with a square crop as there is no natural vertical or horizontal bias.

it is a pity the full image options on this forum are so limited. I guess this would make a superb large print. Very nicely done.

Very nice textures and interesting light. I find most of the image is happening closer to the center so I would agree with pschlute that a square crop would work well.

The square crop suits it better (IMO) but the original shot isn't done justice for the reason Bill suggested - some photos can get away with being seen at the smaller sizes but some need their detail to be seen at a bigger size.

I agree. i now use a screen with a resolution of 2560*1440. A picture posted on here at say 800 pixels gets me reaching for a magnifying glass
