Burnham on Sea Lighthouse

Two from a trip early yesterday morning to try and capture the incoming storm at Burnham on Sea Lighthouse

645 - 45 - 85mm F4.5 @ 85mm F10 and 25 seconds exposure with 2 stacked 0.6 soft ND filters.

It's quite amazing how many angles there are to take a picture of a lighthouse. I went there 5 years ago and took a picture of it here with the K-5II & 18-135mm. I have seen many pictures of it since.

Nice sky though.

I did also go to WSM and Clevedon, but the sky turned dull and bland for the rest of the day with loads of drizzle.

It's the light that makes it, lovely how it catches the roof and just seems to spotlight the lighthouse. Nicely timed obviously, and the exposure is very good.

Thanks Peter, its still operational, there is a light at the front, and the front is white with a red band at the bottom of the timber section.
