Built like a tank

My QR with K7 + 100-300mm slipped from the tripod mount and crashed onto the wooden laminate floor. On examination I could see the bayonet fitting was partly pulled away from the camera body, it didn't look good
I carefully managed to remove the lens and the screw at the base of the fitting had been pulled through the hole so was still in place in the body. After removing the other screws I lifted the bayonet fitting, removed the screw which was still in place then replaced the fitting and screws. Attached a lens and everything still works except there is a slight buckle in the bayonet fitting causing more resistance than normal when changing a lens. Thankfully camera is insurered so is going off for repair and check-up. Could not belive it still worked, it must be built like a tank. Took a couple of snaps, hand held, when trying it and they look ok to me no obvious double vision or badly blurred etc considering I was quite shaken up.

This was one of the "test" photographs, think its one testing built-in flash?
