Clarky,

Great focus and DOF.

You've sure got it all covered now from Macro to Tele.

Cheers

Bottom left of the leaf, is that another leg I can see? The one in your pic seems to have all eight, so is there another spider lurking in there? A mate perhaps.

You certainly seem to have caught the bug for bug macro's. Good stuff.

I would love to see a picture of your equipment case. When you go away have you a trailer for your camera gear? Astronomical photography next?
That and microscopic stuff is all that's left to do. Keep going we're loving it.

Peter you are right it is another spider in there and possibly a mate : Although i have never seen a leaf before which contained 2 spiders.

I do love though bugs, i find them fascinating

MX veteran I don't have a trailer load of gear yet but its getting that way I use a Slingshot 300 bag which i find handy for 3 or 4 lenses + flash and other knick knacks, and my house backs onto a state forrest so there's lots of bugs and wildlife thats easily accessible

Clarky,

They are both excellent pictures mate.

I really cant wait, my gear is supposed to arrive on the 4th of March now instead of the 20th Feb) delayed due to high levels of imigration this time of year.

Keep it up mate

Regards
