British GP Silverstone 2014 (image heavy)

Attached are some of my better efforts over 4 days at Silverstone , including the Thursday afternoon pit walk and a Saturday signing session with the drivers.

All taken with K3 +Sigma 100-300 (with and without Pentax 1.4 TC) and K5ii + Pentax 17-70. All processed in Lightroom.

Those are great, George, and prove that media access isn't wholly essential. You had a general admission ticket and managed some pit shots, I was based in the inner sanctum but didn't (pit access used to be open to media during free practice, but is now more tightly controlled and I forgot to register for the necessary tabard).

Was #18 taken at Brooklands on Friday morning? If so. I'm probably just to the right of the frame...

Yep, P1 Friday morning taken from Luffield grandstand looking across to Brooklands. Wasn't the best position for me as I had the Sun glaring towards me / behind the cars at Luffield. I had intended to go up to Club corner but was a bit late getting up so we dived into the nearest grandstand.

I really enjoyed the Pitwalk on Thursday for any 3 day ticket holders. it was packed and involved a long wait to get in but well worth it and enabled shots I could not have normally got. Sat and watched the F1 show being filmed live afterwards.

What a fantastic set George, high quality indeed. I love the way you've treated the exposure with such care on these, beautifully saturated colours but not over the top in any way.
