You just made my wife go all quiet.

Still, I suppose there is an upside to everything.

Flights are already booked, our house is empty and we aren't far from that road.

A lovely photo. Do you have an almond blossom festival?
I know they do in La Palma, but it is a movable feast depending on when the almond blooms.

Mike - moving back to the sun?

Not in these parts as far as I know Gwyn.

The trees in my photo are on the north side of the Sierra Espuna where some of the trees haven't even blossomed yet. I live on the south (warmer) side where the blossom has almost gone and the leaves are now showing.

I think the trees have blossomed early this year as it's been relatively mild in the last 4 - 6 weeks.

One more . . . the first was taken with the 31mm Ltd. For this one, I used the 12-24mm @ 12mm.

Both of these images are actually pin sharp in Lightroom but the process of exporting them, reducing their size, importing into Picassa, then uploading to Web Albums . . . they lose something on the way.

By the time they get here, they don't look sharp to me.

Nope, just visiting for a wek or so.

Another 3 years, 4 months, 3 days until we can move back.

Not that you are counting the days or anything .

Peter - both photos are stunning and look sharp to me, though I prefer the composition of the first one..

Thanks Gwyn. Perhaps I'm overdue for a trip to Specsavers then.
