I had a request from the website cnet.com to use my photo of the blue moon that I took last month. Here it is on the front page:

I was surprised at the request as I missed the aircraft and wasn't that pleased with it myself!

I bet you were cursing to have missed the plane, it could have worked really well! The dissapointment in missing it has probably effected your veiws on what you did get which is also very good. Technically it's all there, and the vapour trails are reminisent of giant buggy tracks, so the image is worthy of it's added fame.
