Thanks John, I always confuse cormorants and shags.
I sneaked up to it on a boat. Mind you, I did get about 50 shots of various backsides as they dived at my approach!

That's some lens but as Gareth says: you have to be able to use it otherwise it's just an expensive piece of glass!
