Beyond the fringe

Fringe 1 Fringe 2 Fringe 3 Fringe4 The Edinburgh fringe got off to a damp start on Saturday but that didn't stop thousands enjoying themselves on the city's Royal Mile where performers did impromtu street acts to advertise their shows. For me it was like covering the Whitby Goths Festival, except with the Goths you had models willing to stand and pose. At the Fringe the performers were happy to be photographed but they were more intent on getting on with the show so photos had to be grabbed on the move.

Excellent set. Number 2 takes it for me with 1 coming a very close second.

Another one from The Fringe. It was a street grab shot as this character walked past.
