Bench...

Seen better days? Maybe, maybe not! It was a beautiful Afternoon, anyway, taken at Port Carlisle, Solway Coast...

Shame there wasn't a person to sit on the bench, still a nice landscape, great colours and lovely sky.

But then it wouldn't be lonely and folorn, would it?
But I get your point, there was no one around however and I don't do self portraits, ugh, lenses aren't strong enough

here's one of the old Harbour at Port Carlisle, which used to be served by a Railway, one of the most short lived Railways on the UK Mainland I think but don't quote me on that.




And another from the same Bike ride along the Solway Coast again showing the Harbour but also a Boat hauled out for Winter and wrapped up against the elements...

Took some Pans the same day but I'm having trouble getting em to stitch straight in PTGUI and Auto Giga Pano, might be beacuase I never hand hold a camera straight anyway!
Yes I know about the level! And I was carrying my Gorillapod too but didn't use it, sheesh!

Looks a stunning area for a bike ride, also nice and flat, not like here near the Yorkshire Dales. Almost looks like a summers day in those shot's.

Got the Lake District on the other side of me if I wany hilly!
