Less is more perhaps? Crop to just the leg on the left with the hand and tools? What does the other leg contribute? Lovely colours, focus etc. The copper bracelet with the tanned skin is really nice and then the belt offers another brown.

Excellent shot, I like it just as it is. Looks a bit YMCA ...was that the intention?
The YMCA was always a risky decision......Excellent shot, I like it just as it is. Looks a bit YMCA ...was that the intention?

anyway, i like the shot. the badge on the left leg is interesting
Yep, me too. I like to see the bottom of the pocket and the whole belt, especially the buckle. A very well seen and skilifully executed shot but I expect you had some explaining to do when you took it...

Having actually performed the crop I'd say it's different neither better nor worse. I was hoping that by eliminating the gap between the legs and some shadow at the top it would show off the texture of the trousers better and highlight the browns which it does but not so much as to warrant doing it.

Its an advert for Marigolds, "we don't just do washing up!" (grunt).
Its good, interesting, sharp, nice flecks of colour, orange, copper, green. I like the dark behind the light glove. Lots of character.
Quality pants, as they might say in the US.
Where was it taken?

I know. It has a feel of pictures of steel workers erecting skyscrapers. I guess that means its evocative, which is a good thing.
