A few taken at the weekend with a K-R and kit DA 50mm-200mm.

No tripod and trying to keep my other eye on an excited 3 year old.

I increased the sharpness to +2 on the custom image and noticed an improvement on previous photos. Didn't realise you can adjust fine sharpness too.

Don't do much post processing, expect a bit of brightness/contrast on Picasa.

5th image is the most memorable for me but just falls short of it being a belter. Your young lads face is a little bit too soft I reckon. Beautiful capture of the sea lion though. A crop at the top and right hand side might help balance it.

Yes I like the 5th, but would've liked it sharper. I was using the point AF, so would it have been my hand not being steady or Henry moving?

I think I took that one at f4 50mm, but I also took some at f8 (I read on a thread here that f8 was the 'sweet spot' for the kit 50-200mm).

Also saved a couple as RAW, but haven't tried doing anything with them yet.

The seal was the perfect model, in the 4th, it was my boy who wouldn't stay still.

He must be a good lad if he is a rabbitohs fan.

Ha! Ha! Surely not the youngest Burgess brother

All good shots and I also like the 5th best, but the others
are good and the DA 50mm-200mm has very nice bokeh.

I have a sister in living in Sydney, not sure if she's a fan of the Rabbitohs or Russell Crowe though.
