Being a copycat

The other day I decided to try Tim's walk-past style of street photography. I saw a woman all dressed in white with a white dog. I was hopeful of a great image.

As the old joke says, I had two hopes, No Hope and Bob Hope. In fact, the following shot is the only image where I managed to get the people in the photograph!

Back to the drawing board! Hat off to Tim, this shooting from the hip lark isn't easy! I did, however, have a wider lens which allowed me to finally take this shot:

The bus stop did, however, give me what I think was my best shot of the day, although that isn't saying very much!

Hope these at least made you smile!

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I've tried the shot form the hip.

Got a wall, a leg, a lamp post. How Tim does it I've no idea!

Nice last shot kris.

Oh you're not alone Kris, I get plenty of shots with just blank walls, or a single leg, etc. I find I have a tendency to point the lens downward, so I get loads of shots of lots of ground plus some legs and not much else! I've had to ditch so many shots because of this that now I constantly remind myself to tilt the lens up a bit more.
