That's great. I know how hard it is to get those blighters in flight.
sockpuppet - for me, I only ever use MF for macro insects. It takes a lot of practice, patience and luck, but does pay off. With AF you'll almost always end up with the bit you want most OOF.

Just as a matter of interest how much do you use autofucus when doing macro, I only have MF lenses and dont seem to have much luck capturing anything that is even slightly moving.

I use MF most of the time but also use AF on occasions, Mainly with flower macros
As chirpy says, it takes a bit of practice.

I really like it. I know how hard it is to capture. I did a similar shot this weekend. I porbably wasted 50 shots to get the right one - with the right light and all.
