Really good tonal range with crisp highlights and rich blacks, very nice indeed

Yes they work Barrie. The control of light in #1 is superb, the textures are good in #2 and #3 is a very interesting image. I can't place where that is at Beamish.

I really like the second one, nice pattern with one tile standing out (that makes the photo for me.
