Beamish Black & White

After spending part of today at Beamish Open Air Museum I thought I'd have a crack at some Black and White conversions using Lightroom.

I'd be very interested in your comments and advice, as I'm not well versed in this.

Nice conversions Barrie and the 3rd image is really interesting - like this one a lot

Not the sort of images I normally leave Beamish with

Think they've covered the tones from black through to white so good conversions.

Really good tonal range with crisp highlights and rich blacks, very nice indeed

You may wish to check out Nik Software Silver Efex Pro 2 plugin for lightroom if ya haven't already

Yes they work Barrie. The control of light in #1 is superb, the textures are good in #2 and #3 is a very interesting image. I can't place where that is at Beamish.

I really like the second one, nice pattern with one tile standing out (that makes the photo for me.

Thanks Smeggy, but I don't think I'll be doing enough to warrant spending money on it.
