Beach Walk - Out of Season

Had a nice long walk along the local Norfolk Coastline last weekend....Weather was Dull, Windy and Cold but there's something about the atmosphere of a seaside resort out of season...hopefully that's what I've managed to capture in these images.

As always comments and criticisms welcome:

i dont think its a good advert for winter holidays in norfolk!!, but the photo's look good.

My favourite is the 3rd one.
The clouds look like a huge wave coming towards you.

...and I like the way the blue jacket is mirrored in the colour of the hut, and the red jacket has the tops of the posts to compliment it.

Second one doesn't look too dull.

Having just spent a weekend near Cley and Wells, I can confirm that Norfolk is a great place for a winter weekend break.

I enjoy walking along the coast in the Winter, it feels so much more atmospheric and dramatic.

I had to mess about with Picture No.2 quite a bit in Lightroom in order to bring out the colour, hopefully without making the image look too processed.

With a nice warm coat, gloves, scarf, sou'wester, brandy flask, and a pair of good boots.

I spent several chilly winters in North Norfolk. It's not a place where you find tramps sleeping out at night.

But it does have a charm all of its own.

I really love number 3. The splash of red and blue, against an almost monochrome scene, The light reflected on the gulls.
