Mornin' Stu. What were they filming? I'll look out for the article on the news later. The news is always repeated over and over all day. CHEERS Vic.

they was on about the regulations of flying drones you would be better going on the bbc iplayer as it was on that breakfast show they were all sat round discusing the pros and cons of the uses of drones and some of the idiots that use them like the drone that was 2oft from an airliner coming into land at heathrow

Must have been a canny sized drone to get a K3 and a lens off the ground

Just what I was thinking. Then I wondered why they didn't use a lighter DSLR, but I think the K3 is probably the smallest and toughest weatherproof DSLR. I'm sure when it comes to film-making or broadcasting, where time is money, not being able to film with your drone because the weather is bad or it might have a bumpy landing is not something you want to have to worry about.

This forum must be due an award for posting inaccurate information
by people who can't even use their CAPS KEY

I'm sure most outsiders just come here for a laugh! At least they
don't go away disappointed

Why would the BBC use a K-3 for video of all things.... when a lighter Lumix
can do the job a lot better (4K I think)

Of course it was a Lumix .... see 28 secs into the video

The forum doesn't post things Algi, the individuals do, but whoever posts there's no need to be rude about it.

Posting inaccurate information causes a lot of people to waste a lot of their time looking through things like iPlayer. It took me over an hour to track down that video. I'm sure others just gave up.

The OP didn't even have the right program it wasn't "bbc news" it was the Breakfast program which isn't on iPlayer anyway.

An apology would not go amiss

If your not sure of the true facts don't post them.
