Have just bought a new k 30, and iam now looking around for the extra bits you need. I have used e bay Lithium Ion batteries in my gx 10 with no problems. My question is, the pentax D-Li109 for the K30 is 1050mah, many of the clone batteries are 1600, or 2000 mah. Is there any advantage to the higher Mah batteries, will they work for longer, or will they mess up the camera. Has anyone bought any and had any experiance.

Thanks

Have 2 of the 2000mAh clones, after a FRESH charge they are great loads more shots than off the standard battery.

IF and only if you store the battery for an extended period in my case 3-4 weeks the clones do not have as much residual charge left and go flat quickly. The OEM battery though whilst a reduced amount of shots no-where near as drastic fall off and will take more shots.

I am still glad I have the 2 batteries off ebay for 1/8 the price of OEM not had any worries with them.
Pint o' rough & a game o' darts anyone
