Batteries and bag for a k-x ?

Hi all

I've just bought a new k-x, can anyone recommend some rechargeable batteries to go with it ?

Also I will be needing a case - the smaller the better as I am lazy ! At the moment i have 2 lenses and won't be adding anymore for a while - I really like the style of crumpler bags....

I see you've asked. Have a look at Enloop batteries they hold their charge better when not in use. On the case don't go too small. I bought a one that only fitted the the kit I had, then found I had no room to manouver when changing lenes etc. Plus you'll only need a bigger as the kit grows.

Get Eneloops they are good, my uncle use them in his K-X without any problems.

As for the bag you said you liked Crumpler so go for that, I've one too and the quality of them is as you expect. Mine is now almost 2 years old and have seen quite some bashing around but it still looks like new... if I would wash it
Lowe-Pro also have good bags.
Billingham is a high quality brand shoulder bags, you might like those as well and Tamrac has some good value rucksacks.

I wouldn't go for the smallest bag though, go for one that can easily fit what you've now + 1 lens or a flash.
It would be a waste if you stop using the bag because you can't carry the things you want to take with you.

There are so many bags on the market it is almost impossible to recommend just one. I have three different bags depending on my situation, and that is nowhere near what others have accumulated! I started with a Crumpler but actually don't use it much any more, since I now find it either too big or too small for the task (shades of the three wolves here!).

I recommend you find a well-stocked store or two and just try a bunch. Take your gear so you know the bag is right. And expect to carry more than you expect.

As for batteries there is only one word: Eneloop. They last a good long time for a rechargeable and provide dependable current.
