Recently had a few days around the Bath area and whilst there visited the Roman Baths....just for a bit of a laugh really I thought I'd try a couple of panos, to my surprise they worked better than I imagined. Both are hand-held from 7 shots

Both have loads of distortion of course but they sort of work for me anyway

All C&C welcome

Simon

Yep, #2 for me as well.

The distortion isn't that bad, or it could be my eyes!

Nice tries.

Mustn't forget the Zenits, or folders, or...

PPG entries.

Number 2 for me too!

The distortion reminds me of the effect from a fisheye lens. Don't fancy a dip in the water much though!

Nice shots Simon, It brings back memories when I was there in 2007
Fascinating place, If I remember correctly the Baths were totally buried up to the street level before they were rediscovered and dug up.
And the hot spring is still running I believe.

What I found interesting was all the old Roman jewellery, trinkets and tiny metal scrolls with wishes and curses inscribed into them, that was either thrown into the baths or lost.
