Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Haven't seen him on this forum for ages - maybe he's moved to Canada and is now cashing in!

Wouldn't be any use to me the Instruction
Books in Japanese and it looks 8 years old

There used to be a horrible dealer on ebay who had one of these (and bits) on his website/shop about 5 years ago..... he used to catch everybody out by adding VAT to the ebay bids (including me). I bought quite a few things off him though. The only thing I bought relating to the Special LX was a viewfinder screen which I popped into an MX. So maybe I should remove it and put it on ebay.... £200 starting bid?

Go on somebody send "Ask the Seller a Question"..... Does it have a sticky mirror

It's not too bad they'll send it from China and declare it as gift so you don't have to pay VAT and Import Duty Do you think the Customs will open it when they see approx. value £4,000 on the parcel

Well according to Kim C that LX was worth about $3000 a couple of years ago! At that price I'd be afraid to take it out of the box let alone use it. I wonder if they did a FB-1/FC-1 viewfinder set up for it?

He has / had some nice kit. I like the idea of the Leica with a 43mm Ltd!

Cheers, Kris.

Perhaps the seller will buy a sensor cleaning kit with the proceeds. The sensor of the camera he took those images with is filthy.

Lovely bit of kit though.

He could also have taken the time to fit the body cap with the Pentax logo the right way up Presentation is very important when selling.

Nice bit of kit though, and do my eyes decieve me or is that a KA lens with it?

It's a SMC Pentax-A 1:1.2 50mm Special, a metal bodied lens, a la Limited's, that shipped with this camera.

It even has the green location pimple that the Ltds have. A lenses usually have yellow.
