Took some general shots today with a 45-80mm just to see what it performed like. Some purple fringing in some situations. However, the resolution and detail captured by the 645Z is disturbing.

I'll be out later with the tripod and the 55mm f/2.8 lens.

The thing is a beast and will bite you if you don't take it seriously.

I'm at a motoring event tomorrow and will be using the Z and my K3.

The ultra shallow DOF is superb.

It's impossible to appreciate the resolution / quality of the images on this Forum, they look no different on here to any other shots due to the compression / re-sizing required.

Nevertheless I'm looking forward to seeing some more, even we can't see them in all their glory!

I do agree David, I don't know how to make high res, full size images available.

Used the Z today at two major events (all tripod shots) and its incredible.

My work flow has had to change somewhat.

The detail in shot 5 stands out for me. Doing justice to medium format shots (film or digital) on the web is almost impossible. It's not just the captured image that counts though, it's the whole package (performance, weather sealing, unbeatable price, lens selection etc.) no wonder the 645Z was included in the BJP's 'Cool & Notable' gear selections for Dec '14.
