It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I love the second one, Kris. We've been to North Wales or Yorkshire in late October for years but this is the most colourful autumn I can recall.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Thanks all. That road is the drive to my home!

The second one is a 5 image HDR processed in Photomatix Pro. Did anyone suspect/spot that?

Best wishes, Kris.

Kris, the grass on the left behind the fence is fairly vibrant, so that is a likely pointer. Not exclusively to HDR though - it doesn't jump out at me as such.

I do like the colours in the first one and the small details that are rendered so nicely. I hadn't noticed the second was HDR until I read the comments underneath so I reckon you've done a successful job there. Still prefer the first though...

I really like the second one Kris, and it's not obvious it is HDR, in fact i am not sure I would have thought so had I not read that it was. Beautiful colours! A lovely road home! I really miss autumn colours, but not the weather.
