Auto power off query

When using my AF 540 and AF 360 combo off camera with triggers I find the 'auto power off' feature a nuisance, in that when the units are rebooted they return to default mode (P-TTL no compensation) and I have to fiddle around resetting them to the required setting. Is there a way of retaining the previous setting?

On the AF 540 I can get around this by disabling the 'auto power off', but this does not seem to be possible with the AF 360.
