Just here by any chance ?
Like you Carl, if I'd known about it earlier I would have been there!
Perhaps a bit further away Andy - but if they cross in the right place - that could be good I suspect they will be coming in from the East to give the best view to the spectators on the bridge Just here by any chance ?

Sounds great. We had the mass flypast at Fairford...spits plus hurricanes, Me109 and Buchon, not forgetting the sole surviving flying Blenheim. BUT the only problem photographically is that if its anything like Fairford they will be split into smaller flights of 3-4 aircraft...very difficult to get all in the same frame without each aircraft being much more than a speck...hope i'm wrong!
Will be a fantastic spectacle regardless for aviation enthusiasts.

Up to 13 Spitfires are setting off from Humberside airport today to celebrate the battle of Britain.
All will be flying over the Humber Bridge at 1604
They will then be splitting in to groups and flying over a wide area in the North covering parts of East Yorks, North Yorks, Teeside, North Lincs, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire
Full details of places covered and timings here link
If I had known in advance - I know exactly where I would be standing on Hessle foreshore to get the bridge shots!
