Aperture updates

for those who use aperture:

the newest update allows dodging and burning (with full tablet support) identical to photoshops' tools.
there is now a plug-in api that allows 3rd party plug-ins to work inside aperture.
nik has a new color plug-in.
noise ninja has a new plug-in.

I've just had a look at this - very good news for Aperture users. If Adobe don't follow suit with Lightroom I guess I'll be switching to Aperture at some point!

I have been waiting to use Aperture again until I received the 4GB Ram I ordered, which I installed today.

Did the update and tried it out, works great now with this new 24" iMac. (If you remember had all kinds of problems with my other iMac)

Actually the Aperture tech rep called me back the other day and informed me they had tried to re-create the problems on half a dozen G5's and could not duplicate the things I had going on.

Was very surprised I got the call, at least Apple appears to be on the ball and listening to customers.
