Anyone using FF WA lenses?

I have an immaculate Tamron SP AF 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di LD (IF) Aspherical lens. Are there users here who actively use full frame WA lenses? I'm letting mine go, but apart from the opening question, in K-Mount, is this lens sought-after and/or rare compared to others?

I think it's one of Tamron's nicer optics and it's essentially a re-brand of the Minolta A-Mount version (albeit in black). Just curious to know if there are any die-hard FF lens users and to glean any snippets of your infinite wisdom.

Lots of people use the old 28mm, 35mm and 50mm lenses plus the
50mm and 100mm Macro lenses.

Various zooms such as 75-150mm and 70-210mm are also popular.

More than half my lenses are old FF lenses. Some of them are as good as any modern lens. I was interested in the Tamron 17-35mm at one point, and if a FF Pentax comes out, it will probably be a quite sought-after lens. They don't seem to come up in K mount very often. At the moment, with APS-C, I don't see it having any advantage over the DA 16-45. There's a review of it here , where it gets very similar reviews to the DA 16-45.

I must admit, I have shied away from buying any 'aps-c' glass since getting the 18-35 with the camera ... My only other new purchase has been the Samyang 14mm, with a FF image circle. In the back of my mind was its future use as an ultra wide on FF ...

The other lenses are all FF by default purely by being so old! I don't honestly know how well this old glass will perform with an unforgiving high resolution FF sensor? I'm looking forward to finding out though!

In the meantime my browsing and dreaming is restricted to FF examples, just in order to be better prepared. What do you think... Is it better to have the lenses ready to go when FF comes, or just buy quality aps-c glass and bank on selling it all when the FF camera arrives tk fund new lenses then?

I'm not going to deny myself the use of some superb lenses just in case the future holds something different....

If it does change, then that can be dealt with at the time, but it won't change the current usefulness of all those lenses in the range right now.

I use loads of old glass some of them are superb.
Just enjoy the feel of a good engineered bit of kit.
