Just too far for me, plus I won't have recovered from an Night Photography outing in London with Doug Chinnery on the 3rd (this really is an overnight job)..
If someone wants to do the same for us soft southeners I'll be interested (unless I am travelling)...

Sorry guys, can't make it after all. Its a busy time for us and Irene has reminded of other commitments. I fear this may influence Barrie's decision too.
Its a pity because I was looking forward to meeting a whole new group of PU regulars (The Sheffield/Peak District Gang) in addition to renewing acquaintance with people like Gary and Neil.

That is a shame, maybe we look for something in York in the not too distant future that way we all travel a bit?

I'd love to come, I have the camera and the lens, I think something like this could be done in Melbourne.
The only problem I can see is that I would be the only person turning up.
My camera would be my K5 and the lens my FA43mm f1.9 lens.

Forecast does not look too bad for the weekend. I'll be south of Sheffield and weather permitting, I'll make the meeting.
