I believe they were made by a company called Mitake. Looks like it's quite rare, there's no information on Google about this particular model. It looks like they may have made some of these 80-200mm zooms for J C Penney (the US department store) as they look identical, though can't find any reviews of it.
They also made a range badged Accura, of which the 135mm f1.8 seems to be superb from a (very)few reviews I have seen, though they are also very rare. I'd be interested in seeing how your lens performs.

funny you should say about a soligor as thats whats on the case that it lives in but
theres know way of knowing if that was the original case I have had it a few years I think I bought it of someone second hand can't realy remember.
