Well, the company name and number exist and haven't changed name in the last few years (so doesn't look like a shell company). Whether this website is actually affiliated to the company though is another question...
Registered address is a house rather than a shop.
You could always give them a call as they have a number.
Their prices are tempting but I struggle to see how they could offer some of these so low without them being fake, refurbs or non-existent.

You will only prise my 43Ltd from my cold, dead hands...

they have a LOT of products on their websites. it does look very dodgy. all the prices are very good, some are simply too good to be true...
if anyone feels like calling them and report (that's not me! )

If anybody has a 10-ft bargepole....
The address that UK BEST IMPORTS LIMITED (324-326 Regent Street, London) is registered to is an accomodation address only! Here's a link, showing that a p.o. box can be obtained for a fee.
http://www.prime-secretarial.co.uk/prices.html
Use this weblink to check out VAT (EORI) registration numbers. It's EU-wide, so even if a website displays a Belgian, Croatian, or whatever reg. number, it will show who it's registered to.

Dave may have more succes than we have at scamwebsites.co.uk in getting the registrar & hosts (GoDaddy) to take this site down. As the owner of the genuine business that this site lists for their contact details there is clearly a case of abusive use of a domain name. GoDaddy are usually not very cooperative on this kind of thing when it is reported by a third party but Dave is clearly not that. His business is being directly affected by this form of abuse. I recommend he emails [email protected] with full details.

Hi all
Unfortunately my dad has parted with £80 for a product from this website! As you can guess, there has been no confirmation email, payment was bank transfer only (which i thought was a bit dodge) and their company details dont add up. I have tried calling them on the number on the website which is unobtainable. The "registered company number" is that of Silver Centre UK in Preston.
People, dont part with your money! My bank told me as it was a bank transfer, i am not covered!
The more people that report them and the sooner that we get this site www.leylandelc.com the better!

why oh why oh why do people pay people they don't know with bank transfer.
Its like paying someone in the street £100 cash to go get you a k-5, you know you would never see them again...

Anybody can put a company registration on a website. That does not mean that Leyland are running it!
And spare a thought for the owner who is getting harrassed daily. http://forum.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3664443

Hi, I got scammed by this company,as I couldnt get hold of anybody I contacted their bank and spoke to the Fraud department giving all the guys bank details, not sure what that will do but if other people notify them a crook is laundering his ill gotten gains in their bank it might promote some kind of action. I am probably going to call the police too. I cant believe I got sucked into a too good to be true deal, but when money is tight you look for a bargin.
