It's rare and a collectors item, you can't buy them new. It's in great condition, comes with the box and to have the hood present is rare. It's widely regarded as one of the better if not best 85mm lenses.
And, as Stefan points out, it's in pentax mount - good luck mounting the Canon to your K10!

Well with shipping + insurance it'll be closer to 900. Not to mention (for us) VAT

I'd settle for an original K series 85mm f1.8, knowing what other K lenses are like it wouldn't give much away to an A* in image quality!

got M85/2... just for the sake of SMC
though, I'll keep an eye on the Sigma. They have made some great lenses lately!
