Bloody hell! Would love to see Steven Wilson or Porcupine Tree. I have so much of their stuff it's untrue. Most people have never heard of them!

Have you heard the new album? I was a huge Porcupine Tree fan beforehand, and found his solo stuff 'interesting'. After the new album (which is revolutionary imo) I explored his other solo ventures and have a new-found appreciation. I seriously recommend Blackfield too (another one of his projects). Tell me about it! *mutters about music appreciation and our over-gratified society*

Where do they get these names from? Does an anchor make steam?, I ask the seafarers among us.
PS I'm on Jack Daniel's, supposedly after the man who started it.
The nearest would be ask the engine room to turn the steam on to the windlass, maybe an engineer could have been called Jack Daniels

Had a couple of bottles of Anchor Steam in SF a few years ago. Hellishly expensive though - it always is drinking microbrewery stuff.
Just back from a long weekend in Tarbert. Went down to the lighthouse at the Mull of Kintyre (no signing please) but couldn't see it due to the fog!
For once we got it wrong and went away to worse weather than at home.

Spent the day getting the BMW ready for the dreaded MOT.
Gave her the first oil change in 15 years(:blush and put in 2.5L of the slippery stuff..
...only took 1.5L out!(:blush
Still, she goes a lot better now with new spark plugs etc and should get through the test OK.
Saltaire Triple Chocolate to ease the aches after a day bent double,on knees and the rest..

Did you put the same amount of slippery stuff into the car as you put into yourself?
