I had a motorcycle three years ago. A Suzuki DR650. Went like the clappers. One morning, riding it to work, a mail delivery van went through a roundabout and cleaned me up. Five days in hospital, a wrist reconstruction, 45mm screw in the ankle, and I'm almost good as new. Bike is a write off, as was my sanity. Now I've rediscovered the camera. You could say the Pentax DSLR has partially saved me. At least the socks are OK.

One small point, if a sock did not have a hole in it, you would not be able to get your foot into it.

... I have to go do some real work now. Not picked the camera up in a week... we had a stunning storm (at night!) and I had no tripod
still, the replacement will be here on Monday, I hope. If UPS can find my house, of course.

This week at Morrisons, Kingfisher lager at £1 a bottle.
Also J.W.Lees Brewers Dark ale at £1 a bottle.
The lager's OK, don't know about the ale yet.
I'll have to go and drink it!

... kingfisher's not bad IIRC. Depends what you're looking for.
Car was in pieces, but is now back together and a lot lighter. Now to work out how to make the sub fit, the four amps and it all ought to be somewhere near complete tomorrow. I don't think so, but I think I can get a long way towards it.
Weather? 30 degrees. Wed 22, Thu 28, Fri, Sat both 30. Tomorrow 27 and up to Thursday more of the same - "cool start to the day, warming up later. Sunshine with occasional showers, thunder possible".

Nobody notices when they're inside my motorcycle boots though.
I did wonder about getting one of those key fobs that beeps when you whistle at it.
After attaching it to the remote for the TV I'd be able to locate it easily.
Then My son went to Uni and the remote decided to stay at home on the coffee table.
Thanks i-berg.
