I spotted it when it was first listed - I've been after a KM for a while (as I have the digital K-m and a few K series lenses). The lens will end up on my ES II if it's an SMC, after some trials on the K-m with the adapter. I have an excellent example of the K 55mm f1.8 to go on the KM.

I've been told by a friend with a Sony that apparently "their" owners forum won't touch Taks as the coatings "weren't designed for digital", so I'm looking forward to producing some decent results with the old lens and proving otherwise. Even if it's a Super Tak rather than an SMC it should be a good one, and I don't have another lens at the same focal length.

What do Sony owners Know about lense, or cameras come to that.

It took Pentax to show them what could be done with Sony sensors!

Pentax Rules KO!!!

You wouldn't believe the amusement my old primes have given me in that respect - shots to embarrass cameras costing four or more times as much as my K-m with a thirty year old lens!

I can only assume that Pentax are better at tuning the sensors to suit their glass (and that the glass has been consistent in quality and behaviour for decades).

Careful guys - this thread is getting a wee bittie off topic - it's getting to be like a real one topic thread , instead of pointlessly wandering around

Awwww HG not you as well.

I'm sure Sony owners know a lot about Lense but not an awful lot about lenses

It's Monday morning, I've just noticed the typo, thanks Stefan, it should say 'lenses' and do you really want to let her loose in your V6 when she's qualified Unlocker?
