I know how difficult it is to get decent beer (I'm *not* paying €25 a crate for Finnish junk and I didn't have that much space in the car) so I drink it slowly

Warsteiner is around €3/ 0.5l bottle in my local supermarket...

I don't drink it much either - but somehow it still seems to evaporate. Maybe the beer or two (or three or four on a bad night) that the other half drinks has something to do with it.

I had a Hoegaarden tonight - but the other 5 bottles in teh 6 pack were gone

Brett I know beer is expensive in your neck of the woods. You will just have to get a bigger car .

I need to get half a car, a towbar, and a decent welder

Seriously, I'm looking for a Paulchen for the back so I can put the tent + bikes outside when we're out and about next summer. The alternative is a trailer, but that means only 80 km/h and over the god-only-knows-how-many-kms we'll do next summer, it does add up.
OTOH, I understand how much stuff I need to move around and can't because I don't have the trailer. So maybe... especially if it could then become the "camping trailer", with a decent fridge and power...

Go for it Bret, you'll need a cab though.

Those big 40ft trailers full of beer won't fit on a family saloon!

Anyone see the Elton John programme tonight?
The Electric Pro is on the PVR but I watched the first programme, since the clocks go back and in theory at least I have an extra hour in bed.

Sadly the dogs clocks don't go back at the same time as hours so they will be waking us up.

I doubt they would get sunburn with the thickness of their fur. They do have a pool of cold water to cool down in.

Generally I am not too keen on animals in zoos, but these guys seem happy enough. They come out to play about mid afternoon out time. Some times they play with each other, some times they play with their toys and some times they eat carrots. They are actually brother and sister. There is a third bear there, but she is not seeing her public at the moment as they suspect she is cubnant.

Meal sounds good I have to say

Only clock I still have to do is the heating one - and that can wait for a bit

The striking clock will be restarted in 3 mins and then it's correct .

Everything else was done before I went to bed - and the radio controlled ones did themselves at some point in the night.

Now for the striking one - and I might as well wind it up too
