Soberano 5 annos Gwyn - only one available on board but still very very palatable as a nightcap.......................I also enjoy the other Solera system Spanish Brandies such as Fundador,Osborne and Lepanto.
My pa could never understand my liking of Metaxa,Marc,Grappa,Armagnac or Calvados ............but then he could afford XO and the rest !

Carlos I Imperial is my favourite. Our 'glugging' brandy's are 103, 501, Magno, Veterano (a bit rough), and Soberano.
I won a bottle of brandy in a raffle recently. It's so rough, we've poured it into a large jar, added 400g each of strawberries, cherries, apricots, plums, nectarines, and peaches together with 100g of sugar per 400g fruit to make a pseudo Rumtopf. It'll be ready for the winter. Lovely.
It's supposed to be made with rum, but what the heck, the brandy would have been drain cleaner otherwise.

I can never forget doing 90mph on the Gent ring-road, and being overtaken by a hearse... full-loaded with coffin & flowers!

I wouldn't put it beyond Belgian undertakers."Belgian undertakers plan to dissolve dead and flush them into sewage system

My mother was late for her own funeral which we all thought was very fitting.

Have picked up some work today. Having a beer at lunchtime and these two women (well upholstered with additional silicon) and a guy sat at my table.
They worked in a film studio in Chiswick High Street and need someone to do stills maybe two half days each week. A case of take shots, process, delete rubbish, create various resolution images of the best and hand over. All shot on their memory cards which never leave the premisis and I cannot use my own.
Signed an agrement this afternoon. Decent fee too. My investment in the K7 and lens should pay for itself in a couple of months.
Best part - they are filming adult movies.
