Another K-5 IIs convert

I hadn't intended to replace my older K-5 with a IIs, but I happened to be in SRS, struck up a conversation I didn't plan to have, decided it wouldn't do any harm to add a couple of little-used lenses to the part-ex dowry and next thing I know...

I'm not qualified to make detailed technical assessments, but from my perspective the IIs definitely seems to capture crisper detail in poor light. Here are a mixture from yesterday's gloom and today's relative heatwave. All were taken with a Sigma 150-500 (kestrel indoors, the rest alfresco although conditions were significantly overcast for both fox and mallard).

some nice images. My wife never want's to spend money, but after using my K5lls and seeing the difference she has now decided to but one. I was walking in the Dales yesterday and took the K5lls and a DA* 16 - 50. Anyway, there were a few climbers below Malham Cove climbing on a few clasic routes so I thought, I'll take a few images but realised I just did not have enough focal length, when I zoomed in i just could not believe the detail of the climbers. The K5lls is in my opinion certainly with the cost of upgrading and I am beginning to question if I will need full frame.

We sometimes don't know whats possible until...well,until we have seen what is possible! The best we know is often just the best we have experienced
If an upgrade leads to an obvious iq boost,and the wife approves you are lucky indeed!
