AP is also enthusiastic about the K-50. Next week it's the Q7.

As usual it shares the cover with other cameras
Strangely the US "Popular Photography" has given the
FULL COVER to the K-50 Something they don't
normally do.

The review is a good one but states one of the main points
is that it is "ALL WEATHER" Ricoh need to get their
act together on this.... they can't be turning down Warranty
Repairs on cameras sold as "ALL WEATHER" The cost of
the repairs is probably a lot less than a Full Cover Advert
on Popular Photography

There's no general pattern that suggests they are Algi, and we seem to have no problem with weather resistance in general.

This cover of AP is no different to any other and the K50 headlines, so that has to be positive, doesn't it?

I read this earlier as well - good review
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

I had my K200 in torrential rain. Was fine. Kept on shooting. Just making sure it was left out on the side at home to dry out fully. I would presume the K5 would be much the same.
K5, K200 and several film Pentax cameras!
