Seriously though, not every shot has to be sharp, this is a good fun image.

looks like the piece of wood he just took off from is pretty sharp, it's interesting if nothing else. Has a feeling of action to it.

seems like he's just seen you trying to get the shot
and he's coming in for the KILL.

worthwhile shot. Did you have any thoughts on how you would have nailed the shot:

I did consider gluing him to the pergola or buying a very expensive fast lens. It was a difficult shot - brightly backlit and through a closed window. But it ain't easy to get the exact moment of take off, so all in all I'm quite pleased with my blurry tit.
