Along the Towpath

A few from yesterday's stroll along the Grand Union Canal near Kings Langley in Hertfordshire:

1. Narrowboat moorings

2. Iron mooring post at the lock

3. Decaying wooden mooring post

4. Don't cross the pipe bridge!

5. Mail line rail bridge

6. Under the bridge

7. Canal curve

8. Ground frost

Any comments welcome.

Happy New Year!

Some good detail in those shots. I particularly like the geometry which works well in mono in No.6.

Happy New Year to yourself and any other browsers!

I have really enjoyed looking at your pictures. I lived a few miles up the cut in Berkhamsted for 28 years and spent a lot of time on, near or sometimes in the canal, your images bring back many happy memories. Thank you,

I like 2 & 8 best ....great low-down viewpoints giving a different perspective. The frosty grass is lovely!

I love canal walks. Very pleasing pictures.
Best wishes,
