Advice on licensing fee

Hi everyone,

I have been approached by somebody putting together a prospectus for a university who is interested in licensing one of my photographs for use in it.

I have been asked to quote a fee for this, but to be honest I have no experience at all in this area, and have not got the faintest clue what to ask for.

Can anybody help me at all?

Thanks in advance,
Tim.

Go to alamy or getty and use their calculator. You need to know the time scale and print run if the prospectus

In my experience you normally find that they already have a figure in mind, ask them what they normally pay and take it from there.. the calculators that Cabstar recommends are good guidance once they give you a figure.
