I have been asked the followed:

"I have a set of Vivitar Extension Tubes which worked with my old Pentax K mount camera K1000, MG and MEF but not with the K Mount AF lens of the Z10. Is there any way of over coming this."

Can anyone help?

Thanks
Dan

The Vivitar extension tubes are unlikely to have any of the electronic contacts or the AF coupler that the AF lens needs. However, the AF lens can be used in manual focus mode and the camera body can use stop-down metering. Everything will need to be set manually but metering will still be possible. If a Digital SLR is used the custom function "permit use of aperture ring" may need to be activated.
Best regards, John
