Adobe Photoshop CS5 & Pentax Lens Correction

I have been exploring Adobe Photoshop CS5 and the Lens correction feature in the Filters menu, I found quite a few Sigma lenses listed, but nothing for Pentax, is there a logical reason for this? From my understanding users will be able to add and update to the lens correction profiles which I think is a really great idea. My question is where can users find the data to upload to the CS5 lens correction profiles? On a big positive, some of the new features in CS5 are incredible.

Hi Fletcher,

I played with it in the last 2 days and made a de-fish profile for the Pentax 10-17mm.

You'll need the Lens Profile Creator: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/lensprofile_creator/

Print out a few charts, set up lights & your tripod and shoot a few pictures at different distances, angles, focal lengths and so on...
The software then creates the profile based on that (an extensive how-to is included in the free download from Adobe Labs!)

From what I've read, Adobe is working on a central database for users to submit profiles!

The main problem I see is that all camera and lens combinations are needed. Not just one profile for a certain lens but also the same lens along with another body...

As for manual tweaking: I haven't had ANY luck using the manual controls without the profile I created. De-fishing never worked for me on the wide end of the fisheye lens. Until now!
