My Adobe LR5 will not open, I get the following error message:
"Lightroom encountered an error when reading from its preview cache and needs to quit" it says it will try and fix when it next opens but so far today no joy at all.

Any thoughts please my esteemed and wise Pentaxian buddies?

Thanks
Andrew

Try this link. Should help:
http://www.lightroomforums.net/showthread.php?17068-Error-Message-quot-Lightroom...

Also type "lightroom encountered an error when reading from its preview cache and needs to quit" into Google and go from there. Seems common and there are answers.

Yup just delete the preview cache ( or rename it ). It'll rebuild any previews it needs. Preview caches can get rather large.
