I've just updated my lightroom to version 3.4, and have realised that there are now a load of lens profiles for Pentax lenses!
Instantly pulled out one from the recent ventures with the fisheye and tried it, and it seems to be pretty good! (I've only clicked the lens profile, nothing else done to the picture.)
Has anyone else had a play with it??

Havent'd had such great luck with some of the profiles. Distortion still exists even for mild barrel or pincushion distortion. They are a great start over manual, but never as good as what I see above. Impressed with what it did with fish-eye

I was well shocked when I applied this.
Subsequently tried it to a few more shots, not as impressive as this, parts of the picture got cut off after defishing, as it does in PT lens as well.
Also it does make the corners, or actually the parts outside the "fisheye's circle" look pretty bad as the IQ is really only good at the centres and the corners are poor-ish as usual.
All in all it did a better job than I expected.

I use the profile for the 17-70 siggy, its not too good, does the distortion but over compensates for vignetting so I get bright edges! lol

the profile in 3.3 for the 17-10 Sigma seems OK. Is the 3.4 version a new one?
